Below are some common questions we have answered over the years.
Do you guarantee the renovation?
YES. All our workmanship is covered by QBSA for six years and six months and all products have manufacturers warranties. Together this gives you security and peace of mind.
How long is the duration of the construction period?
TWO WEEKS is the average construction period excluding the shower screen. Once tiling is completed, your shower screen is custom measured to ensure the best quality.
When can the renovation begin?
TWO WEEKS is generally the turn around time to approve drawings, sign contracts and order your products. Once this is completed, construction can begin.
Do you have a showroom where I can look at bathroom and kitchen products and fixtures?
YES we do. You can visit our showroom at 7/45 Canberra Street, Hemmant. We are open 8am till 4pm, Monday to Friday to help with your choice of products. Saturday-by appointment.
Can I choose the products and tiles?
YES you can. Here at Bathrooms and Kitchens by Ben, we want you to have the freedom of choice for your renovation. You can visit our showroom to inspect our wide range of products and if we don’t have what you’re looking for, we will gladly arrange your desired product on your behalf.
Will Bathrooms and Kitchens by Ben manage my renovation?
YES. We take care of everything from start to finish. As a member of QBSA, we only use licensed and qualified trades people. The majority of our team is employed directly by BKBB, and you have a supervisor during renovations to ensure the best possible result.
Do you have extensive renovation experience?
YES. Our locally owned business has over 12 years experience in Bathroom and Kitchen renovations in both the private and commercial sectors.
Can I renovate if there is asbestos?
YES. If your home has asbestos our qualified & licensed trades people will remove it in accordance with government compliance and safety standards.
Will a hot water tempering valve be installed?
YES. In accordance with Council regulations, it is compulsory by law to have a hot water tempering valve installed for all plumbing work.
Will I have to clean up after construction is completed?
NO. We will remove all rubbish and clean so that you can enjoy your beautiful new renovation.
I can’t use my bathroom whilst construction is taking place. What will I do?
If your home only has one bathroom, we can organise a portable bathroom that connects to your existing water and sewerage. (Please note that this service will be at an additional cost.)
